Don Lubowicki started manufacturing kitchen hood ventilation systems in 1971 in New Brunswick, NJ. He expanded to Florida in 1984 at which time operated out of both locations and eventually streamlined operations and consolidated in Deerfield Beach, Florida under the name Hood Depot.

Hood Depot is an engineering firm, a national UL listed manufacturer and has it's own installation division all under one roof.

Hood Depot designs, manufactures and provides hood/ventilation systems and related equipment to institutional and governmental facilities and commercial kitchens throughout the United States, Central and South America and the Caribbean.

Michael Lubowicki, Don's son, has been with Hood Depot for some 20 years heads up operations as Senior Vice President. Hood Depot presently employs some 60 highly qualified team members who handle every aspect of your job from initial engineering and design right through system start up.
